I was employed by the NHS as an Occupational Therapist (OT) for 23 years, working both in the hospital ward setting and in the community, treating people with a wide range of physical and mental health conditions. The latter thirteen years were in Stroke Rehabilitation and Community Rehabilitation.

In 2013 I completed a City and Guilds Level 4 Higher Professional Diploma in Foot Health Care and Practice which lead to me being fully qualified as a Foot Health Practitioner.

The diploma was written and delivered by the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (IOCP).  I am also a full member of the College of Foot Health, which is endorsed by the IOCP.

Although I no longer work as an Occupational Therapist, my profession provided me with a wealth of knowledge. This enables me to provide advice and to signpost you to various services in Cornwall, enabling your safety and independence in your day to day activities, all whilst treating your feet.

I am professionally insured via the College of Foot Health, and bound by their Code of Ethics and Rules of Association. I am DBS checked and cleared, and trained in medical emergencies.  I embrace holistic treatment skills within my Foot Health Practitioner role, ensuring your feet are in excellent health. I provide a highly professional service where comfort, safety, hygiene  and confidentiality are paramount.
